Sip, Savor, and Storytelling: Ales & Tales Returns for 2025

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR - The Baxter County Library invites you to a monthly gathering that combines the joys of storytelling and community at Ales & Tales, held at Rapp's Barren Brewing Company on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
This unique event features engaging readings of selected short stories or novel excerpts, creating an enriching literary experience for book lovers and newcomers alike. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a meal, secure a comfortable spot, and prepare for an evening of inspiring storytelling.
The first reading of the year on January 14, 2025, featured The Wager by David Grann and brought out an impressive number of people, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting season of literary exploration.
Each Ales & Tales event offers an opportunity to enjoy great company, delicious drinks, and captivating stories, all while supporting a worthy cause. Thanks to Rapp's Barren Brewing Company, a portion of the evening's proceeds will benefit the Baxter County Library Foundation, helping fund vital Library programs and services.
